EMITEC INC. Emitec has designed a new version of the SCR process — the SCRadvanced (SCRa). This process capitalizes on the potential offered by metal catalyst substrates — the turbu- lence-generating structures for maxi- mum performance with minimum installation space; a catalyst-internal mixing and flow equalization; and numerous and flexible designs. The SCRa is a multistage process concept and consists of a close-cou- pled module that includes an oxida- tion catalyst, urea injection and an ini- tial small SCR catalyst.
