the angle of approach and departure
are 30°, the company said. The four-door cab offers seating for up to eight
firefighters and is available in either
left- or right-hand drive.
The Storm follows the introduction of a new version of company’s
Striker ARFF vehicle, which is available in 4x4 (1500) or 6x6 (3000)
variants, with the model numbers
corresponding to the capacity of
the truck’s welded polypropylene
water tank. The Striker vehicles are
powered by Duetz TCD16.0V8 diesel engines rated 697 hp (See Dec.
2012 Diesel Progress).
