Briggs & Stratton Standby Power has unveiled a new website
section designed to give homeowners an easy-to-follow guide
to navigate the often confusing process of choosing, buying and
installing a standby generator.
Visitors to www.powernow.com can follow the step-by-step
site design to find the correct-sized standby generator system
for their home.
The site offers instruction on the basics of automatic standby
generator systems and their financial benefits, as well as emerging
power management systems that allow homeowners to power more
of a home’s items with a smaller generator. The company’s generator sizing calculator helps determine which size generator will cover
a home’s backup power needs, while a purchase checklist and
finance options list assists homeowners in being properly prepared
before installation begins.
Terex Construction has launched a new Distributor Support
application and the enhanced www.terex.com/construction website.
Both initiatives are part of a strategic focus on digital marketing
technologies to improve the customer experience by providing
easier access to information, the company said.
The Distributor Support app, which works on both Android and
iOS platforms, puts all the content that distributors need to support
their customers at their fingertips. The app stores all content locally
on the device, allowing users to access the information 24/7, even
when Wi-Fi or cellular connections are not available.
The updated www.terex.com/construction now boasts a responsive design that adapts each Web page’s layout to a visitor’s specific viewing environment. Content can be accessed from a desktop,
tablet or smartphone — the Web pages will automatically adjust to
the device’s screen size, making content easy to read and instantly
accessible, Terex said.
