Struthers New President At Kohler Power Systems
Kohler Co.’s Global Power Group, a worldwide supplier of engines and power generation systems, has named
Jason Struthers
as the new president of its Kohler Power Systems (KPS) business. He succeeds Otto Kopietzki, a 40-year vet- eran of the power generation industry, who will remain as president emeritus of the business throughout 2010 in support of the leadership transition. Struthers is responsible for leadership and management for Kohler Power Systems, which includes operations in North America and Asia. KPS Sales & Service — doing business in Europe, Middle East and Africa — also falls under the adminis- tration of Struthers. Struthers will focus on enterprise-wide strategic business and process improve- ment initiatives. “Jason brings to Kohler Power Systems a proven track record of driving efficien- cies, growth and profitability from the global businesses that were under his supervi- sion,” said Dick Fotsch, Kohler Global Power Group president. “By combining Jason’s progressive approach to manage-

Both entities are busi- ness units of Idex Corp., a global company specializing in highly engineered fluidics systems and components. Struthers also spent 13 years with Parker Hannifin Corp., beginning in its electromechanical division and progressing through various assign- ments in engineering, sales and marketing prior to becoming general manager of the company’s Actuator Division.
