Fuel Filter Elements Luber-finer, a division of Champion Lab- oratories Inc., and a manufacturer of heavy- duty filtration products for the transportation, off-road/mining, marine, agriculture and automotive light truck industry, has an- nounced that it will now offer replacement elements for its line of Davco fuel/water sep- arator fuel filters. The replacement elements will be available for all Davco filter applica- tions, including on- and off-highway, indus- trial, gen-set, construction, military, marine, bus and coach. The Davco fuel filters will be available in two media types. Cellulose filters offer micron ratings between 2 and 50 and capacities of 37 to 52 grams. Synthetic filters have micron ratings between 2 and 50 and capacities of 60 to 63 grams. The synthetic filters also feature a pressure differential valve, the company said.

Tire Pressure Monitoring Accu-Pressure Safety Caps Inc. has introduced its safety cap monitors and flexible braided valve extensions with pressure settings from 26 to 120 psi. The product was developed to make tire pressure monitoring easier and to help prevent driving on under-inflated tires, increasing fuel economy, the company said.

Synthetic Compressor Oils Atlas Copco has introduced Paroil S and Paroil S xtreme synthetic compressor oils, developed to offer a higher viscosity index for use in severe environments, such as high pressure and pipeline applications. The Paroil S oil was developed for air compressors working in severe, high-pressure applications and can be used in all Atlas Copco portable air compressors operating in ambient temperatures from - 13° to 122°F. Paroil S xtreme can be used in two-stage compressors in appli- cations up to 507 psi operating continuously in temper- atures above 86°F, Atlas Copco said.

Re-Engineered Hydraulic Hoses Eaton Corp. has reengineered select Weatherhead Diamond Advantage one- and two-wire braid and four-spiral hose styles. Included are the Weatherhead H190, H280, H290, H430 and H245L hose styles, which are suitable for a range of general hydraulics applications, including con- struction, agriculture, mining, forestry and material handling equipment, as well as stationary industrial markets. The Diamond Advantage products are designed to offer higher pressure ratings, an improved temperature rating of 260°F and a more abrasion-resistant cover than previous hoses, the company said. Upgraded Weatherhead H190, H280, H290, and H245L hose styles meet and exceed Euro Norm SN/SC standards; the H430 four-spiral hose meets and exceeds EN 4SP pres- sures in sizes - 8 through - 16 and meets and exceeds SAE 100R12 standards in all sizes, Eaton said.

Parker Hannifin has released its VP1- 095 truck pump to North America. The 95 cc/rev VP1 Series pump is targeted toward mobile applications where power and precise control of multiple functions is required, such as cargo cranes, forestry equipment, sewage trucks and road maintenance vehicles. The VP1-095 can be mounted directly to a truck PTO. Because of the pump's variable flow capability, heat generation is significantly reduced, the company said, which it noted can eliminate the need for an oil cooler and reduce fuel consumption. Rated for continuous operation at pressures up to 6090 psi, the VP1-095 has variable flow up to 52 gpm. Parker said the pump is rated higher than other pumps in the family while weighing 2. 2 lb. less than its 75 cc model.
