New Products Cotta has added to its line of heavy-duty pumps with three new models, designed for use in extreme applications. The new X-treme pump drive series comprises two-, three- and four-pump configurations. They have input ratings up to 1500 hp and can reach 900 hp per pad. The pump drives can be driven as either power splitters or combiners. The SAE pump mounting pads are field configurable using customer-spe- cific pads and spline adapter, said Cotta. In addition, the pump drives can be specified with through drives or through shafts with an optional discon- nect. The SAE bell housings can also be specified for direct mount to engines. They are targeted to applications with challenging conditions, such as marine, rail, construction, dredging, drilling, hydraulic power, process equipment, oilfield and crane applications.
