New Products PT Tech has introduced its new HPTO12TS diesel engine clutch, designed for severe-duty applications. The new clutch has a 460 hp capacity and features an SAE J1939 compatible proportional control system, shorter overall length and a metric output shaft. The company said the self-adjust- ing clutch’s integrated torque-limiting capability can provide significant drivetrain protection and offers high side-load capacity without the use of pilot bearings.

Company News Stiebel has announced two manu- facturing contracts. The company has been awarded a contract to manufac- ture the mechanical drive in Bosch Rexroth’s HRB hybrid system and will manufacture the mechanical drive for Hytrac’s Hydrotransmatic Plus drive- line system for off-road vehicles.

New Products Twin Disc has introduced the TA90- 7500 Series transmission, a smaller, lighter-weight complement to its TA90-8501 Series. The 7500 Series automatic transmission comprises a nine-speed coaxial power-shift trans- mission and an advanced electronic control system, said Twin Disc, with a maximum gross input power rating up to 2600 hp at 1900 rpm. The new transmission incorporates an aluminum housing designed to reduce overall vehicle weight, as it weighs approximately 1100 lb. less than the larger TA90-8501. Overall length is 61 in. In addition, it can han- dle two PTOs up to 200 hp and includes a torsional coupling.
