dpPOWERLINES The first Mack Pinnacle tractor came off the assembly line at Mack’s Macungie Assembly Operations in Pennsylvania. Production of the Pinnacle truck has been moved from the New River Valley, Dublin, Va., to the Macungie plant to consolidate assembly and create a brand-specific envi- ronment for Mack customers, said the com- pany. Also produced at Macungie are the Granite, TerraPro and Titan.
Hertz Equipment Rental has joined the SmartEquip Network, which supports equipment suppliers and national and inde- pendent operators worldwide. SmartEquip was designed for equipment fleet support and to streamline service, parts procure- ment and inventory management.
Glacier Computer, a developer of rugged industrial computing products, and Solzon Corp., a technology integration consulting firm, have formed a strategic agreement in which the two companies will work together to combine Glacier’s Everest and Ridgeline series of industrial computers with Solzon’s application software and integration services.
