Farmall Series
NEW FARMALL A SERIES UTILITY TRACTORS DESIGNED FOR EASY-TO-USE OPERATION IN MANY APPLICATIONS
BY DAWN M. GESKE
Case IH has introduced new farm utility tractors, expanding its Farmall tractor lineup to six series.
The new Farmall A series tractors have a
simple, straightforward design for easier
operation and multipurpose applications.
“If you’re looking for a durable work-
horse without electronic controls, take a
look at the new Case IH Farmall A trac-
tors,” said Greg Lucey, Case IH marketing
manager for Farmall tractors. “These new
Farmall A tractors are simple machines
built for the farm with all the pulling
power and hydraulics you need for load-
ing, blading, tilling and mowing chores.”
The new Farmall A series incorporates
four models — the 45A, 55A, 65A and
75A — rated 39 to 66 PTO hp. The
Farmall A series tractors have a more eco-
nomical design, sitting at the lower power
end of Case IH’s full Farmall portfolio.
Case IH’s Farmall family is composed
of the economical Farmall series ( 52 to
80 PTO hp) made up of five models for
all-purpose farm applications. The
Farmall U series has three models rated
70 to 90 PTO hp, all heavy-frame,
heavy-duty utility tractors with premium features.
Case IH’s Farmall N series are special-
ty tractors ( 62 to 82 PTO hp) with a
narrow width and lower profile for use
in orchards and vineyards. The Farmall
C series has four straddle-type tractors
rated 50 to 80 PTO hp with a lower profile for work in tight spaces with low
ceilings — ideal for livestock and poultry operations, the company said. Case
IH also offers the Farmall Compact
series, comprising seven compact utility
tractors rated 26. 5 to 50 PTO hp.
With the new Farmall A series tractor,
Case IH adds a series of multipurpose
utility farm tractors. The tractors are
available in two-wheel drive or four-
