The U.S. Marine Corp. and the U.S. Navy have ordered Ingersoll Rand P260WIR compressors from Doosan Infracore Portable Power. The
P260WIR compressors have an output of 260 cfm at 100 psig and are powered by 79 bhp Yanmar 4TNV98T diesel engines.

Doosan Infracore Portable Power completes delivery of 67 new Ingersoll Rand air compressors to Marines, Navy

oosan Infracore Portable Power has fulfilled two government orders for its
Ingersoll Rand air compressors. The
first order was for 19 new Ingersoll
Rand air compressors to complete an
order with the Marine Corps Systems
Command. The second was for 48
tandem axle air compressors for the
U.S. Navy.
The Marine Corps order for the
new Ingersoll Rand P260WIR com-
pressors was received from the Tank
Automotive Command of the U.S.
Army (TACOM), and the machines
have been delivered for deployment
to combat engineers, engineer sup-
port battalions, artillery regiments,
ground combat support and Marine
Corps air wings.
