to the mobile hydraulics markets in the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions. The new Eaton DuraForce range includes products such as
the HMV variable displacement motor, which will be available in displacements from 55 to 280 cc/rev and operating pressure capaci-

How the longtime connection between Eaton and Linde grew into a global
alliance and led to creation of Eaton DuraForce product line

Manufacturers often like to say they are “partners” with their major suppliers. In the case
of Linde and Eaton, it’s clearly some-
thing more than a business cliché.
Long a key supplier of hydraulic com-
ponents for Linde’s material handling
products, Eaton and Linde Hydraulics
have taken their partnership to a whole
different level through the establish-
ment of the global alliance between the
two companies, which was announced
in late June. The alliance — through
which Eaton will gain access to Linde’s
broad range of high-pressure piston
pumps, motors and valves while Linde
will draw on Eaton’s medium-pressure
piston pump and motor portfolio — will
not only allow each company to fill
gaps in their respective product offer-
ings, but will also result in a realign-
ment of Linde Hydraulics’ business
operations in the Americas and in the
Asia Pacific region.
