Waterproof Safety Switches
Elobau Sensor Technology Inc. has
announced its line of Machine Safety
switches are now available with IP69K
protection. The IP69K protection class,
conforming to DIN40050 standards,
combines the IP6X (the highest possible
protection against dust penetration) and
IPX9K (the highest possible protection
against water penetration, with beam pres-
sure of up to 1450 psi and at temperatures
up to 176ºF). The switches have success-
fully passed a multistage series of tests in
which they were also tested for IP65 and
IP67. The IP69K stainless-steel switches
are applicable in machines operating in
heavily contaminated areas, Elobau said.
The 171 series are available with NO/NC
contact or two NO contact configurations.

Onboard Weighing System
Loadrite has introduced the L Series 2180 onboard weighing system for wheel loaders.
Equipped with Loadrite’s proprietary Friction and Ambient Compensation Technology
(FACT) software, the L-2180 system is designed to calculate accurate weight regardless
of the time of day, machine type, operator or temperature, said the company. The weigh-
ing system helps operators to ensure trucks are loaded to the correct value, reducing
extra trips for underloading or overloading.

Mass Flowmeter And Totalizer
The new FMA-4100/4300 Series program-
mable mass flowmeter and totalizer is
designed to display flow rates in 23 differ-
ent volumetric flow or mass flow engineer-
ing units, including user-specific selection.
Omega Engineering said the flowmeters
support functions such as programmable
flow totalizer, high- and low-flow alarm,
automatic zero adjustment, two relay out-
puts, jumper selectable zero to 5 Vdc or 4 to
20 mA analog outputs, status LED diagnos-
tic, storage of up to 10 different gas calibra-
tions and internal or user-specific K-factors.
