COMING TO AMERICA
New company established to represent Turkish generator manufacturer Aksa in the U.S.
The Generator Store, a Joe Gearcompanyheadquartered in Monroe, La., has entered
into a partnership with Turkish generator set manufacturer Aksa Power
Generation Co. to market and sell
Aksa natural gas and diesel-powered
generator sets to the U.S. market.
As part of the partnership, a new
company — Aksa USA — has been
established and is currently creating
a national dealer network.
Aksa USA’s product line includes
diesel- and natural gas-powered sin-
gle-phase generator sets ranging from
10 to 200 k W standby and three-phase
sets from 9 to 2000 k W standby (see
accompanying chart). The gen-sets
are mounted on heavy-duty fabricated,
steel base frames, and control and
monitoring systems are also frame
mounted. They are available as open
units or packaged within weatherized
and sound-attenuated enclosures.
Trailerized models are also available,
the company said.
