MOBILE HYDRAULICS
Targeted for propelling swing drives of mini excavators from 2 to 6 tons, Poclain Hydraulics has introduced the new MZ hydraulic motors.
Hydraulic Motors
For Mini Excavators
Poclain Hydraulics has expand- ed its off-highway hydraulic motor line with the addition
of the MZ motors designed to power
the swing drives of 2 to 6 ton
mini excavators.
The overall size of the MZ motors
have been optimized, Poclain said, led
largely by the integration of makeup
and anti-rebound valves. This, the company said, provides new design options
for mini excavator manufacturers.
The increased efficiency of the MZ
motors helps to make the most of
the power installed on the machine,
thus offering improved acceleration
and as a result better productivity.
Further, Poclain said that due to the
low internal losses, the MZ motors
can contribute to reducing the fuel
consumption of mini excavators.

Universal CreepDrive Control Unit
oclain Hydraulics has en-
hanced its CreepDrive vehi-
cle transmission system with
the addition of a new control unit
integrating all the functions required
for the control and monitoring of
the system. The Sturtevant, Wis.,
manufacturer said the control unit
simplifies installation of the system
on the vehicle and increases the
driver’s control and comfort.
The Poclain CreepDrive system,
introduced in 2008, is designed as a
transmission system for vehicles that
