It has a digital, solid-state regulator, full
amortisseur windings and a brushless
alternator with brushless pilot exciter.
The drip-proof generators also have no-load to full-load regulation, self-ventila-tion and three-phase voltage sensing.
Each gen-set incorporates a Katolight
KDGC 2020 electronic control panel. The
controls, which operate on Windows-
based software, use SAE J1939 engine
communications. The panel has 16 pro-
grammable contact inputs, seven con-
tact outputs and multilingual capability.
