Excavator jaw-action bucket crusher manufacturer MB S.p.A. has developed a new
coupling tool designed to allow a
range of implements to be quickly
and easily connected to a hydraulic
excavator. The new Universal Quick
Coupling can be used with crusher buckets, hammers, drills, etc.,
and is available in seven versions,
depending on the excavator and the
pin diameter.
The company said the new coupling improves pickup geometry by
reducing the distance between the
excavator arm and the implement or
attachment, thus speeding up jobs
being carried out on-site.
MB also added that with the use
of the new tool, the strain on the
excavator is diminished, since the
coupling weighs as much as 50%
less than conventional couplings. The

coupling makes assembly operations
simpler, with quick front and back
mounting sections.
The Universal Quick Coupling can
be used with excavators from 7 to 44
tons and pins from 1. 5 to 4. 5 in. in
diameter. The company can also provide custom coupling configurations.
MB S.p.A. is headquartered in
Vicenza, Italy, and has been known
for the production of crusher buckets
for excavators in the construction
industry and especially in the demolition and recycling sectors.
The company recently opened its
new U.S. headquarters with offices and
warehouse, located in Reno, Nev.
The new subsidiary is intended to
allow MB to manage sales and deliveries in the U.S. more quickly and
efficiently. The warehouse will stock
