Hydraulic Valve Driver
Axiomatic has
introduced its
newest hydraulic
valve driver for
mobile equipment
applications. The
8: 5 Valve Control
with CAN is designed for OEM control
applications, such as fan drive systems and
transmission controls. The valve driver is
designed to control five proportional or on/
off solenoid valves from a variety of input
sources. It accepts voltage, current, resis-
tance, frequency, digital and PWM from six
universal analog inputs. The valve driver
also has four proportional or on/off valve
drivers up to 2. 5 Amps, one digital output
up to 2. 5 Amps and an open- or closed-
loop (PID) drive that is user configurable.
It has ratings of 12, 24 or 48 V. Axiomatic’s
hydraulic valve controllers are built with
rugged environmental and mechanical fea-
tures designed for harsh environments, the
company said.

Belt Drive Systems
TB Wood’s, a brand of Altra Industrial Motion, has launched a
new belt drive system for high torque drive applications. The
QT Power Chain II incorporates a synchronous belt, sprockets,
bushings and idlers, functional in both low- and high-speed
power transmission applications. According to the company,
the QT Power Chain II was designed for use in a variety of
industries such as lumber, pulp and paper, petrochemical, packaging, aluminum and steel,
sand, gravel, concrete, glass and food processing.

Switches
Cole Hersee has released its SureStart
low-voltage 48513 disconnect (LVD)
switch. The switch was engineered to
electronically sense battery voltage
and conserves starting power by dis-
connecting
noncriti-
cal loads.
This benefit
allows the
switch to
prolong bat-
tery life by
preventing
battery damage from excessive dis-
charge, Cole Hersee said. The switch
has a rating of 100 Amps at 12 or 24
Vdc. Dimensions of the switch are 4. 5
in. by 4 in. by 4. 27 in. for applications
in utility and delivery vehicles, as well
as ancillary onboard equipment.
