second edition Kohler EFI diagnostic
software, developed by Kohler for the
next generation of its electronic fuel
injection (EFI) engines, which began
rolling off the production line in 2010.
Fully compatible with earlier Kohler
EFI models, Kohler EFI diagnostic
software enables an outdoor power
equipment dealer’s service technicians to tap into critical performance
data logged by the engine control
unit. The proprietary software walks
service technicians through the
diagnostic process, and supports
troubleshooting with engine performance information such as operating conditions, failure codes, total
hours, oil temperatures, detailed
load parameters and much more —
all of which can help facilitate maintenance and repairs, the company
said. Kohler also offers a companion
Service Tool Kit.
Also new on the service side is
Kohler Pro Series fuel treatment.
Available in 4 and 16 oz. packages,
the 3-in- 1 Kohler Pro Series fuel treatment features a fuel stabilizer, corrosion inhibitor and fuel system cleaner.
