Thomas Named President For Terex In Latin
America
Jacob Thomas has been named presi-
dent, Latin America, for Terex Corp., effective
immediately. With profit and loss responsibil-
ity for the Latin America region, Thomas will
lead the organization and report to Steve
Filipov, president, developing markets and
strategic accounts for Terex.
Thomas began his Terex career as vice
president, product development and tech-
nology in October 2007 and was named
senior vice president, product development and marketing in
2009. Prior to joining Terex, Thomas was a vice president for
Navistar International Corp.’s Engine Group, following other gen-
eral management and product development leadership positions at
Navistar’s diesel engine and commercial truck businesses.
As a key and fast-growing developing market, Terex expects
greater than US$1 billion in sales in Latin America by 2015. As
previously announced, a new manufacturing facility is under con-
struction in Guaiba, Brazil, to support continuing growth for the
company’s business in the region.

Weishaar To Lead AGCO’s China, India Ops
AGCO Corp. has named Andreas Georg
Weishaar vice president and managing direc-
tor of its China and India divisions. Weishaar
will oversee the setup of AGCO’s tractor
operation at Changzhou in Jiangsu Province,
China, which started production earlier this
year and will expand to produce a full range
of 50 to 130 hp Massey Ferguson tractors and
AGCO SISU Power engines. He also will over-
see the setup of AGCO’s operation in Daqing,
Weishaar joined AGCO’s Strategy & Integration team in October
2005 and has been vice president since January 2009. He became
vice president of operations for China and India in November 2009.
Prior to joining AGCO, he was a senior manager in the strategy and
organization practice of Arthur D. Little.
