Corley Named President of Deutz USA
Steve Corley, 46, has been named presi-
dent and CEO of Deutz Corp., Duluth,
Ga., and regional executive Americas for
Cologne, Germany-based engine manufac-
turer Deutz AG.
Corley succeeds Christian Krupp, who
is returning to Deutz AG as senior vice
president finance and investor relations.
Corley joined Deutz from Perkins in 2000
as general sales manager. He became vice
president in 2005 and executive vice president in 2009.
Also at Deutz Corp., Christian Vorspel-Rüter has been named
chief financial officer. Vorspel-Rüter was head of controlling tech-
nology for Deutz AG.
LBX Promotions Follow Start Of Brazilian
To support LBX Co.’s growth in North and Latin America and
the recent establishment of a subsidiary company in Brazil, LBX
said it has revamped its organizational structure by promoting
several key people to new roles. All of the promotions were effec-
tive May 1.
Eric Sauvage has been promoted to executive vice president,
gaining additional responsibilities for product and business planning
and engineering, as well as maintaining his current duties as chief
financial officer. Mike Davis has been promoted to vice president
of marketing and sales, and Rod Boyer has been promoted to
vice president of customer support. Davis and Boyer will continue
to assume increasing levels of responsibility and support the com-
pany’s planning activities.
ATLAS COPCO: Lauren Berry has been appointed as a serv-
ice coordinator for Atlas Copco CMT USA LLC in Baltimore, Md.,
effective June 1. In her new role, Berry reports to Ed Hullet, a
senior branch manager. Berry has been a service administrator in
the Tucson, Ariz. branch since 2007. She began her career as an
aftermarket administrator at the Rocky Mountain branch in Denver
Stevenson New GM At Meritor
Meritor Inc. has appointed Matthew Stevenson as general
manager, North American field operations and marketing, effective immediately. Stevenson reports directly to Joe Plomin, vice
president, Truck Americas, Meritor. In his new role, Stevenson is
responsible for leadership of the North America field sales team,
service, training, fleet and dealer relationships and Meritor WABCO
field sales. He will also retain responsibility for product marketing in North America supporting the company’s Truck, Trailer and
Specialty business units.
Prior to joining Meritor in 2010, Stevenson spent nearly 10 years
at Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) and held several positions, including executive-level positions in the areas of marketing,
sales and product strategy.
