The Rental Show will be at a new
venue when it returns to Las Vegas in two
years, the American Rental Association
has announced. The new venue will be
the Sands Expo and Convention Center,
with the Venetian and Palazzo serving
as the headquarter hotels. The show
had previously been held at Mandalay
Bay, but that site was unavailable for the
required dates, the ARA said. The future
dates and locations for The Rental Show
are: Feb. 5 to 8, 2012, at the Ernest N.
Morial Convention Center, New Orleans;
Feb. 10 to 13, 2013, at the Sands Expo
and Convention Center, Las Vegas; and
Feb. 9 to 12, 2014, at the Orange County
Convention Center, Orlando.

ment casting specialist, announced that it
will expand its Hartford facilities with the
purchase of 52 acres of land adjacent to its
existing location and the construction of two
additional casting facilities. The new build-
ings, which represent an investment of $50
million through 2013, are needed to address
capacity constraints, the company said.
Signicast is a supplier of a wide range of
basic castings to complete machined com-
ponent assemblies for a range of markets,
including the engine and engine-powered
equipment industries. Its current plans call
for an additional three production buildings
The North American subsidiary of
MWM recently received an order for four
engines for use in two biogas plants from
the Exergy Group in Idaho. MWM will sup-
ply four TCG2016C V16 engines that will
drive generator sets rated 800 kW to the
Double B and Swager Farms installations.
MWM will also supply maintenance ser-
vices for the two biogas plants of Exergy
New Energy, the biogas division of Exergy.
