Flaherty, Huibers Promoted At Mack, Volvo
Mack Trucks, Inc.
announced that Kevin
Flaherty was named
president of North
American sales and
marketing, effective Jan.
1, 2012. He is responsible for all of the company’s North American
commercial activities.
Flaherty has been with Mack for 38 years, and has served
since 2001 as senior vice president for the U.S. and Canada.
He will continue to be based at the company’s headquarters in
Greensboro, N.C., where he will continue to report to Dennis
Slagle, who as part of a recently announced reorganization
has been promoted to executive vice president for Volvo Group
Trucks Sales & Marketing Americas.
Ron Huibers was named president of North American sales and
marketing at Volvo Trucks North America (VTNA), effective Jan. 1,
2012. Huibers is responsible for all of the company’s commercial
activities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Huibers has been with the Volvo Group for more than 15 years,
and served most recently as senior vice president of Sales &
Marketing for VTNA. He will also continue to be based at the
company’s headquarters in Greensboro, and will also continue to
report to Slagle.
