On-Site Power Schools
EGSA’s education programs are designed
to help the On-Site Power professional
stay abreast of today’s fast-changing technology. EGSA hosts Basic and Advanced
Schools throughout the United States
that outline the technical aspects of On-Site Power systems.
CEU Program
Thanks to our Continuing Education
Unit (CEU) program, those who attend
the On-Site Power School have a way to
demonstrate what they learned. CEUs
are awarded after you attend our school
and pass a test. Applicants complete the
test at their convenience and mail it to
EGSA within 30 days for grading. “
Learning Outcomes” for each module of the
school are available to give applicants
specific information about what they are
expected to learn.
Technician Certification
The EGSA Electrical Generator Systems
Technician Certification Program employs
rigorous testing to identify generator
technicians who have attained sufficient
levels of skill, knowledge, and expertise
to demonstrate proficiency in various
aspects of generator set and On-Site
Power generation systems maintenance
and repair. Technicians who pass the test
can proudly use the title “EGSA Certified Electrical Generator Systems Technician,” confident that they possess the
critical knowledge and skills to succeed
in their jobs.
Industry Trade Shows
EGSA-sponsored trade shows and conferences—including the EGSA On-Site
Power Pavilion within POWER-GEN International—provide members and others the opportunity to exhibit and demonstrate their products and services to a
growing international audience interested
in all aspects of On-Site Power.

EGSA’s Annual Spring Convention and
Annual Fall Conference gather hundreds
of representatives of member firms together to make contacts, share ideas and
experiences, and learn more about the
technical aspects and marketing of On-Site Power products.
